Addis Court Docket Searches
Every Addis court docket search starts with the issuing court. A town ticket or ordinance matter goes through the town's own route. That route points to QuickCourt for ticket lookup and payment. A case filed in the 18th Judicial District Court takes a different path. It runs through the West Baton Rouge Parish Clerk of Court. Addis sits inside West Baton Rouge Parish. Yet an Addis address alone tells you nothing about which office holds the record.
Read the court name printed on your citation, summons, or case paper first. An Addis Mayor's Court matter belongs with the town channel. A felony, a major civil filing, or district-court traffic matter belongs elsewhere. That kind of case goes to the district court instead. The town offers no full municipal docket search. There is no public terminal and no separate case-register field list. So match the court first, then contact the office that owns the case.
- Read the court name on the Addis citation or court notice before selecting a search route.
- For an Addis town ticket, open the town-linked QuickCourt route and follow only its live form instructions.
- Keep the Addis ticket or court notice available when checking a payment or lookup result.
- If the paper names the 18th JDC, use the West Baton Rouge clerk route instead of the Addis ticket portal.
- Call Addis Town Hall for a missing municipal record, a date, or the current copy procedure.
Addis QuickCourt Record Boundary
The official Town of Addis site sends its "PAY TRAFFIC TICKETS" button to QuickCourt Addis. That makes QuickCourt the town-linked channel for paying and looking up tickets. It is not a full register of every Addis Mayor's Court case. QuickCourt shows no docket-event list, minutes, continuances, judgments, appeal history, or payment-fee schedule. A ticket can produce a payment or lookup result. The rest of the court file stays out of view.
When a result leaves out a minute entry, judgment, continuance, or appeal record, ask the Addis town court for its current procedure. A QuickCourt result never substitutes for a clerk-issued copy. The screen itself is not the official record.
Note: QuickCourt's public Addis interface displays no result fields, record images, payment fees, receipts, or full docket register. Treat it as a payment tool, not a case lookup system.
Inside the Addis Municipal Court
Official local materials call it the Addis Mayor's Court. The Town of Addis is one of West Baton Rouge Parish's incorporated towns. Its Mayor's Court handles Addis ordinance and traffic matters as a separate local channel. An Addis municipal record never turns into an 18th JDC record. The event happened in the parish. That alone does not change the record. For a town-issued ticket, call the Addis court first.
The published materials list a Mayor's Court schedule and a town-linked ticket route. But they name no local clerk, records-counter room, fax number, judge, courtroom number, or public-terminal policy. That gap matters once you need more than a ticket payment. The town itself sets the current procedure for records and copies, not a generic parish portal.

Addis Mayor's Court Calendar
West Baton Rouge Parish's meeting-schedules page lists Addis Mayor's Court on the second and fourth Thursday of each month. The time is 3 p.m. at Addis Town Hall. That recurring pattern helps with planning. It is not a case-specific docket, though. It proves nothing about whether your ticket or hearing sits on that date.
The Addis homepage may show a current Mayor's Court event, while the parish page carries the standing pattern. The two postings update independently. Treat any official posting as a lead. Then call Addis Town Hall at 225-687-4844 to confirm the exact time, court status, and any reset. The town publishes no daily docket and no calendar search tool.
A reset simply replaces an earlier setting with a new one. Nothing shows how a reset appears in QuickCourt or a municipal docket. A current confirmation from the town is the dependable route.
Finding Addis Court Dates
Confirm any Addis court date with the town when the matter sits in Mayor's Court. The second-and-fourth-Thursday pattern gives the general rhythm. Only the town notice or the court itself supplies the date for your case. Your ticket or notice likely names the court, case number, or citation number. Staff need one of those to pull the file. No official source publishes a full Addis setting screen or a daily case calendar. The phone call closes the gap.
| General session pattern | Addis Mayor's Court is listed for the second and fourth Thursday at 3 p.m.; confirm the individual matter. |
|---|---|
| Case-specific date | Not published as a verified public Addis docket field; ask the town court. |
| Location | Town Hall, 7818 Hwy 1 S, Addis, LA 70710, for the published general Mayor's Court schedule. |
| Courtroom or judge | Not located in the inspected Addis court materials. |
| Setting type or reset | Not exposed in QuickCourt or a public Addis docket interface; confirm with Town Hall. |
An Addis notice naming the 18th JDC follows a different date chain. The parish clerk, the assigned judge, or the district attorney confirms dates for a matter filed in district court. The Mayor's Court schedule plays no role there.
Addis Town Hall Record Requests
If QuickCourt leaves you without the Addis court record you need, call Town Hall. Ask how the Mayor's Court handles copy requests. Have your details ready. The ticket or case number, the rough date, the type of record, and whether you want a plain or certified copy all help staff find the right file. There is no published municipal form that must be used. The town posts no dedicated copy-request form, no mail or fax route, no public terminal, and no online docket-copy process. There is no certified-copy fee schedule. So ask Addis directly about turnaround and cost. An Addis ticket lookup alone proves nothing about what documents exist.
Did the case actually get filed in the 18th JDC? Then skip Town Hall. Use the West Baton Rouge Clerk public-records route instead. The clerk of the filing court keeps the file.
Addis Traffic Ticket Lookups
Traffic tickets drive most traffic to the town's QuickCourt route. The Addis form lets you search with either a driver-license number or a ticket number. Both fields are optional in the public capture. Name and address fields are required instead. An Addis name alone may pull up nothing. The portal does not reach every court in the parish. Read the ticket itself for the issuing court and any court-date instruction.
What QuickCourt does after you submit is another matter. The static public interface shows no payment buttons. It lists no payment amounts, receipt fields, contest deadline, refund rules, or municipal docket history. The ticket and the Addis court's own instructions control those questions. If a town-issued ticket does not appear, call Addis Town Hall. Never read a blank result as final.
For a district-court traffic case, the portal is the wrong channel. The West Baton Rouge Clerk's criminal route handles traffic violations processed through the 18th JDC. See the West Baton Rouge traffic court reference for the county-level court routes.
Addis QuickCourt Form Details
The Addis QuickCourt form is more than a ticket-number box. First Name, Last Name, Address, City, State, and Zip are required fields. Driver License # and Ticket Number are optional, and the form states that either one can look up a ticket. The State control's option list does not appear in the public capture. So follow the current interface. Do not assume a dropdown.
- Required address details
- First name, last name, address, city, state, and ZIP are shown as required on the Addis form.
- Driver License #
- An optional Addis lookup key in the captured QuickCourt form.
- Ticket Number
- An alternative optional Addis lookup key, with a visible ticket-number help link.
- Lookup or payment result
- Not a verified Addis docket register, because the public capture did not expose docket events or record images.
QuickCourt can change its search, payment, and result behavior at any time. The Addis source supports only the field capture and the town link. It promises nothing about results, costs, or the scope of records returned.
How Addis Cases Reach the County
An Addis case reaches the county court route only when it is filed or processed there. Location alone is not enough. A town ordinance matter or local Addis ticket begins in the Mayor's Court channel. An Addis felony sits with a different office. So does a major civil matter, family or probate filing, or an 18th JDC traffic matter. Search the record where it was filed.
Docket flow: Addis Mayor's Court for town matters → West Baton Rouge Parish Clerk for a West Baton Rouge 18th JDC filing → 18th Judicial District Court case record.
The West Baton Rouge criminal department sends 18th JDC criminal records to ClerkNet. Processed traffic filings go there too. Civil filings go through ClerkConnect. Neither portal carries the full Addis Mayor's Court record system. A locally started Addis case stays local unless the court and the filing actually change.
Addis Cases Outside Town Court
Here is a common routing mistake. Someone searches ClerkConnect or ClerkNet for a town court ticket just because the person or event is in Addis. Those clerk portals hold West Baton Rouge 18th JDC records by type. Addis Mayor's Court keeps its own local records. So do Port Allen City Court, Brusly Mayor's Court, and the justice-of-the-peace courts. Start with the court named on the paper.
The reverse mistake happens too. An Addis matter naming the 18th JDC should not be searched only through the Addis ticket portal. The 18th Judicial District Court serves West Baton Rouge plus Iberville and Pointe Coupee. Each filing parish's clerk keeps its own record. So an Addis 18th JDC filing belongs with the West Baton Rouge clerk. It does not belong in a Mayor's Court lookup.
When the court name is unclear, ask Addis Town Hall whether the matter is municipal. Ask the parish clerk only about a known district-court filing. That keeps a town record and a parish-court record straight without guessing from an address.
Who Can See Addis Court Records
Addis court records are requested from the office that keeps the municipal file, under Louisiana public-record law and any confidentiality rule or court restriction that applies. Public access has limits. Not every Addis docket detail, ticket record, document image, or personal identifier is available through QuickCourt. A municipal ticket portal is a narrow channel. A town record request may still be needed for an Addis minute, judgment, continuance, or other court paper.
Key rules:
R.S. 44:1 defines public records broadly, including electronic material used or retained in public business.
R.S. 44:31 gives adults a right to inspect or copy public records unless another law creates an exception.
R.S. 44:32 permits a custodian to use reasonable written procedures for copies.
Call Addis first and ask three things. Ask about the current procedure, the fee, and whether you can get a public copy or only a redacted one. Some files are off limits. Juvenile, expunged, sealed, and otherwise protected information can be restricted by law. And if a search turns up no Addis result, don't read too much into it. That alone is not a seal, a dismissal, or proof that no municipal file exists.
Addis Court Record Context
Addis sits in West Baton Rouge Parish as its largest incorporated municipality. The 2020 Census put its population at 6,731. The official Census QuickFacts entry confirms the count. The Louisiana parish profile maps Addis beside Port Allen and Brusly among the parish's incorporated towns. That standing is why Addis runs its own town court channel. It does not lean entirely on the parish clerk. The published Louisiana court table offers no Addis city-court caseload figure. Draw no conclusion from that. It is not proof the town has no cases. The official source simply carries no volume number for Addis. Local color, like the old bank and post-office building that now houses the Addis Museum, tells you plenty about the town's history. It says nothing about where its court records live. So keep the routine simple. Bring municipal questions to the town. Route district-court filings through the 18th JDC clerk. Then confirm dates and copy procedures with whichever office actually holds the Addis or parish file.
